The Hatching Grounds is a large, enclosed area that is covered in warm sand. This is where all the clutches are laid, hatched and impressed.

The Weyrbowl is a large open area. Much of a young rider's training happens here.

This is an open field with various types of game. Dragons come here to feed while their Riders can converse.
